You can expect to lose weight steadily for a few months, however you may find there are times that your weight loss plateaus and then restarts again.
This is totally normal and a sign from your body to take a break from losing weight. It is extremely hard to continue to lose weight in a linear fashion for months at a time.
It is important to incorporate phases of weight maintenance where you get comfortable maintaining a new lower weight. Incorporating weight maintenance phases can also make it easier to restart losing weight, and prevent weight gain.
