What are allergies?Updated a year ago

An allergy is your body’s immune system reaction to a foreign substance. There are many common allergens such as dust, pets, environmental allergens like weeds and pollen, food allergies like peanuts and allergies to medication. Seasonal allergies are common during seasons changing (especially common in the fall and spring) and are often caused by pollen, hay fever, weeds, grass ragweed and more. Symptoms can last days to weeks and can include itchy and runny eyes and nose, sneezing, and dry throat.
