I have dry, flaky skin and I’m afraid of using retinoids – what do you recommend?Updated 2 years ago

Retinoids are formulated to promote skin turnover, meaning you can experience some skin flakiness.

Purging is common with retinoids: after two to six weeks of consistently using a retinoid product you may have acne and blemishes come to the surface. This is completely normal and your skin will clear up soon!

If you’re already concerned about having dry, flaky skin, you may have an existing skin condition that needs further medical attention.

After taking our skin quiz, based on your results, you’ll get a list of recommended products that are best suited for your skin type. After checking out, you’ll be able to access a consultation with our medical team to get your specific questions answered.
